Sheriff Jeffrey D. Paden said that on Thursday night, February 10th, 2022, shortly before 9:00 p.m. Deputies, Detectives and CODE Task Force Investigators executed a search warrant at a local hotel in Cambridge, Ohio. Investigators took two females into custody, one of which has been identified as Cassara Kahrig, age 30 of Cambridge. Kahrig had outstanding warrants for her arrest. Investigators collected evidence consisting of suspected fentanyl, crack cocaine, methamphetamines, illegal prescription pills, drug paraphernalia, and U.S. currency. This case is still under investigation and will soon be forwarded to the Guernsey County Prosecutors Office for review of potential felony charges.
