Charges Filed On Four Males Involving Theft Ring

Sheriff Jeffrey D. Paden says that four men are currently in his jail following the bust of a theft ring by his office. Deputies had responded multiple times to an Oxford Rd. property in Eastern Guernsey County over the past weekend in regards to several items such as vehicle parts and tools being stolen from the property. The residents reported to deputies that they had captured the men on video surveillance cameras positioned throughout the property, however they did not know the identity of the men. The videos were turned over to the deputies and after reviewing the photos with other deputies at the office, the identity of all four men were established.

Sheriff Paden said that over the past two days, all four men were located and taken into custody by deputies and detectives and charges were filed Friday afternoon May 27th on all four individuals.

McKinley D. Black, age 39 of Buffalo, Jean Paul Geiger, age 49 of Middlebourne, Connar Sylvan Cline age 28 of Quaker City and Brandon Roberts, age 40 of Buffalo are all charged with Breaking and Entering and Grand Theft, both 5th degree felonies. They will be have bond hearings in the Cambridge Municipal Court on Tuesday May 31st.
