CODE and the Guernsey County Special Response Team execute search warrant

In the early morning hours of September 25, 2021, Detectives with the Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force (CODE), along with the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence in Guernsey County. This search warrant stems from an investigation by detectives assigned to CODE. During the search warrant three individuals were taken into custody.  A search of the residence yielded an undisclosed amount illegal drugs including suspected cocaine, suspected crack cocaine, unknown pills and an unspecified amount of money.  The residence involved in the search warrant is a residence which law enforcement has received numerous complaints on. This case is still under active investigation and as such no formal charges have been filed. The filing of formal charges are pending lab results from BCI and further investigation into this matter.  Sheriff Jeffery D. Paden stated that “he is proud of the hard work and collaboration of the agencies involved and that he is going to continue to relentlessly pursue drug dealers in our community”
