Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office Appears in Article of National Magazine

The Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office’s Community Engagement Team was interviewed by Officer Magazine in April of this year. Officer Magazine is a national magazine that is a leading source for News, Training, Jobs and Online Forums for local, county, state and federal law enforcement police and officers. The topic of the interview was how law enforcement agencies are utilizing social media platforms in inventive ways.

Sheriff Jeffrey D. Paden stated “We are proud of how a law enforcement agency of our size is nationally recognized for how we engage with our community through social media. We strive as an office to quickly provide as much information as possible concerning public safety issues to the citizens of Guernsey County. We have found that social media is an excellent resource to use for that purpose.”
