Justin M. Carnes charged with aggravated possession of drugs

 

Justin M. Carnes, a 31 year old Cambridge resident, has been charged with aggravated possession of drugs a 2nd degree felony following a traffic stop conducted by deputies with the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office on April 12, 2021. Carnes was found to be in possession of approximately 5 ounces of suspected methamphetamine, otherwise known as crystal meth, a schedule II drug. Carnes is well known to law enforcement and has a previous conviction of trafficking in heroin that occurred in 2019, when he reportedly sold heroin to an undercover CODE, Central Ohio Drug Enforcement, officer during the birth of his child.
