Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force Executes Search Warrant

              

On January 10th, 2024, Detectives with the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office/ Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force executed a search warrant on a residence on the east side of Cambridge in reference to a drug trafficking investigation.

Throughout the last month Detectives were able to obtain evidence of drug trafficking at this specific residence and a search warrant was obtained to locate additional evidence. Detectives located suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl, and other items indicative of drug trafficking.

Two individuals were present in the home who were subsequently arrested and transported to the Guernsey County Jail. The Guernsey County Prosecutors Office has reviewed the case and formal charges have been filed on the two individuals.

Tana Lee Guiler, age 41 of Cambridge has been charged with the following:

-Aggravated Trafficking in Drugs – Felony 3

-Trafficking in a Fentanyl-Related Compound- Felony 5

-Tampering with Evidence- Felony 3

-Aggravated Possession of Drugs- Felony 3

-Possession of a Fentanyl-Related Compound- Felony 4

 

Kelly D. Anderson, age 53 of Cambridge has been charged with the following:

-Tampering with Evidence- Felony 3

-Aggravated Possession of Drugs- Felony 5

 

This investigation is still active and additional charges may be forthcoming. Sheriff Jeffrey D. Paden states that his Narcotics Investigators from his Investigations Division has handled nearly a dozen felony level drug cases since the beginning of the year and added that these cases are the definition of team effort due the citizens making the complaints and the investigators following through on them.
