Search Warrant Executed On Brush Run Road

On November 17, 2021 the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office and the Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence on Brush Run Road in Cambridge. The search warrant stems from drug trafficking investigation in which investigators believe suspected methamphetamine and fentanyl was being sold from. Detectives discovered suspected fentanyl, items used for the distribution of narcotics, multiple firearms, U.S. currency, and a 16 month old child that had easy access to the items found. A female was transported to the Guernsey County Jail awaiting formal felony charges from the Prosecutors Office. A male was apprehended on the 18th of November for his involvement in the drug trafficking operation and he is also awaiting formal felony charges. Guernsey County Children Services assisted in the investigation and were able to facilitate a safe home for the young child.
