On February 21st at 5:20pm, deputies stopped a vehicle traveling on Interstate 77 for following too closely. During the stop, deputies discovered that the passenger (Robert Hicks) had a nationwide warrant for his arrest. Deputies also discovered suspected drugs and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. The driver (Makayla Thomas) was issued a citation for the traffic violation and Robert Hicks was transported to the county jail.
