On Monday the 19thof April, 2021 deputies with the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office and the Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Taskforce (CODE) arrested three individuals and searched a home in the city of Cambridge stemming from a narcotics operation. Brittany Gardner, age 27, Tyson Heskett, age 22, and anther unidentified male were all taken into custody. Investigators located suspected narcotics, to include suspected crystal meth and fentanyl, along with other drug related items. Formal felony charges have been filed against Brittany Gardner for permitting drug abuse and aggravated possession of drugs (methamphetamine), and Tyson Heskett for two counts of aggravated possession of drugs (methamphetamine, and a fentanyl related compound) This investigation was aided in an overwhelming support from the community.
