East Cambridge Woman Charged with Several Drug Related Crimes

On January 5th, 2024, Detectives from the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office/Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force executed a search warrant on a residence in East Cambridge in reference to a drug trafficking investigation.

Upon entry into the residence, suspected methamphetamine was observed in plain view on a living room recliner. A further search of the residence resulted in the seizure for more suspected drugs, specifically, fentanyl, U.S. Currency, and paraphernalia.

During the execution of the warrant, two residents of the home were taken into custody and placed on a felony investigative hold.

Upon review of the case by the Guernsey County Prosecutor’s Office. The main target of the investigation, Deanna E. Ogle (age 47), of Cambridge, OH, has formally been charged with the following:

  • Aggravated Possession of Drugs (a felony of the fifth degree)
  • Possession of a Fentanyl Related Compound (a felony of the fourth degree)
  • Trafficking in Drugs (a felony of the fourth degree)

Deanna Ogle will be held at the Guernsey County Jail pending her arrangement/bond hearing for her charges on 1/11/2024.

Sheriff Paden wishes to remind the public of the following; “Fentanyl is a dangerous synthetic opioid which has a grasp on many individuals in our area. I have my investigators dedicated to this issue and working countless hours, attempting to combat the drug trafficking going on in this area. This is an uphill battle for law enforcement alone.
