Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office Staff Observes Breast Cancer Awareness Month

As many know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month across the Nation.  Employees at the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office wear pink badges during the month of October to honor those who have passed and also the survivors of breast cancer.  Honoring these brave people have been a practice of the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office since Sheriff Paden has become Sheriff of Guernsey County.  Sheriff Paden stated that “not a day goes by that I don’t think of my mom that passed from breast cancer. Authorizing my deputies to wear a pink badge is but a small reminder of the huge impact my mom had on my life.”
