The Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Carbyne to enhance the County’s 911 System. Carbyne compliments the tools we already have to provide the best emergency dispatching service available to Guernsey County Citizens. Having the ability for the dispatchers to view an emergency scene live through the callers phone, adds increased situational awareness. This can be used for locating the caller when he or she cannot provide her location or is not able to speak. It allows the dispatchers to provide up to the second information to first responders. Carbyne and many other life saving tools are only available because of the passage of the 9-1-1 Levy. I cannot thank Guernsey County Citizens enough on their continued support of the Levy.”
