On Tuesday October 12, 2021 at approximately 11:30 am the CODE Task Force, comprised of officers with the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office and the Cambridge Police Department, executed a search warrant at a residence located in Columbia Court in Cambridge. The search warrant stems from a narcotic investigation and was aided by tips received by concerned citizens in the community. Detectives located 28 year-old Todd Michael Spencer of Cambridge, OH at the residence along with several illegal items to include suspected fentanyl, suspected crystal methamphetamine, drug trafficking equipment, and a loaded firearm. Items of evidentiary value will be sent for further analysis and additional criminal charges may derive pending the conclusion of this investigation. Mr. Spencer had an outstanding warrant for his arrest and has been formally charged by the Prosecutors Office for Possession of a Fentanyl-Related Compound a Felony 2nd degree and Tampering with Evidence a Felony 3rd degree.
