Sheriff Paden With Messages to Area Drug Dealers

 

 

 

 

 

On February 21st, 2022 during the late evening hours the Investigation Division with the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office and the Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task (CODE) executed a search warrant at a residence on 21st street in Cambridge, Ohio. The search warrant stems from a felony narcotic investigation involving two individuals who are no stranger to law enforcement. Michael Casey, 51, and Lisa Casey, 56, both of Cambridge were arrested and transported to the Guernsey County Jail. Investigators collected a large amount of suspected crack cocaine and multiple items used for the distribution and sale of narcotics. Investigator’s with the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office has filed the following felony charge on the individuals:

Lisa Casey – Tampering with Evidence- Felony 3

Possession of Cocaine- Felony 1

Michael Casey – Permitting Drug Abuse- Felony 5

Possession of Cocaine- Felony 1

Sheriff Jeff Paden said “This is yet another message to anyone that wishes to drug traffic in Guernsey County. If you want to continue to sell drugs in our community, we are going to track you down relentlessly and you will be charged to the fullest extent of the law!!!”
