On 08/12/2021 Detectives assigned to the CODE Task Force observed Robert Lantzer enter an apartment in the south side of Cambridge, Ohio. Lantzer was known to members of the CODE Task Force to have a Felony Warrant for failing to appear on a felony drug charge. After having observed Lantzer enter the apartment, detectives with the CODE Task Force conducted surveillance on the apartment. During this time, detectives applied for a search warrant to enter the apartment and place Lantzer under arrest. Upon receiving a search warrant and with the cooperation of members from The Cambridge Police Department, the search warrant was executed.
Once inside the residence law enforcement officers placed Lantzer under arrest. While placing Lantzer under arrest a small amount of suspected crystal methamphetamines was observed in plain view. Additionally, while on scene a small amount of suspected crystal methamphetamines and crack cocaine were located in the property of a 43 year-old female. The 43 year-old female remains unnamed pending the filing of formal charges.
